What will be taught in the classes ?

We offer a variety of classes in the flex-training program.

The foundation course is our cross training format.  Each course will have elements of the following types of training... Obedience commands, Behavioral commands, Directional training, Obstacle confidence exercises and Agility skills.

We also offer a free style agility course in our flex training program.

We will be adding additional classes which focus on specific training goals.  Trick training, carting, dog dancing, hiking are a few of the activities that will be included.

Do I have to call ahead to participate in class ?

Once you have registered your dog in the flex-training program it is not necessary to call ahead, however space in each class is limited. People who have called ahead are guaranteed a place for their dog in the class.

What are the requirements for registering my dog in the flex-training program ?

Dogs must have completed a basic level obedience program or be able to demonstrate basic skills.  You should be able to sit and down your dog. Your dog should understand a basic stay command, you should be able to control your dog while walking on leash around other dogs. If you do not have these basic skills our Behavioral Obedience Course is better suited to your dogs training needs.

We will continue to ad additional training classes offering you the opportunity to try new things with your dogs. Some of these courses may have restrictions. Any restrictions will be clearly listed on the schedule.

How do I find out about classes that are offered in the flex-training program ?

Dates and descriptions of classes in the flex-training program will be posted on our website.  We will gladly send email updates to clients registered in the program informing them of new class options.

When can I sign-up for the flex-training program?
You may sign-up at any time.  Your flex-passes are good for four months and may be used in any of our flex-training classes or activities.

What if I have more than one dog ?
Our flex-training program is perfect for families that have more than one dog. You may use your flex-passes for any of your dogs as long as they have met the criteria of having basic level obedience.  If you choose to bring more than one dog to a class, each dog must have a handler.
